Tax Deadline Coming.
Books a Mess.
We get small businesses caught up fast — clean books, accurate taxes, filed on time. Whether you're days from a deadline or years behind on filing, we've handled it before.
100% remote · Flat-rate pricing · QuickBooks ProAdvisor · BBB Accredited
We'll tell you honestly whether we can meet your deadline before you commit to anything.
Every day you wait adds more to catch up — and more risk of penalties, missed deductions, and IRS problems. The sooner you call, the faster this gets resolved.
Sound familiar?
These are the situations we handle every week. If any of these describe where you are right now, we can help.
Your tax preparer needs clean books — now
Your CPA or tax preparer asked for a profit and loss statement and a balance sheet. You opened QuickBooks and realized the numbers are wrong, or you have months of uncategorized transactions. We fix the books so your preparer can file.
The filing deadline is days away
Whether it's April 15, the October extension deadline, or a quarterly estimated tax date — if you're scrambling to get your books in order before a hard deadline, we prioritize your file and work to your date.
You got an IRS notice or audit letter
An IRS notice asking for documentation, a CP2000 notice about unreported income, or an audit request. We get your records in order, reconcile your accounts, and make sure the numbers you submit are accurate and defensible.
You haven't filed in one or more years
If you're behind on filing — not just bookkeeping — the IRS will eventually file a substitute return on your behalf, and it won't be in your favor. We get the books caught up so you can file and get current.
Your books are too messy to hand to anyone
You know your books are wrong but you're embarrassed to show them to a CPA. We've seen every version of this. We clean up the file first, then you hand clean books to your tax preparer — no judgment.
You need to file an extension but don't know what you owe
An extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay. If you don't know what you owe, you risk underpaying and owing penalties. We get your books current so you can make an accurate extension payment.
How fast can we get you caught up?
The situation that feels overwhelming is a defined project with a defined end date. Here is what catch-up bookkeeping actually looks like in practice.
| How far behind | Typical turnaround |
|---|---|
| 1–3 months behind | 1–2 business days |
| 4–6 months behind | 3–4 business days |
| 7–12 months behind | 5–7 business days |
| 1–2 years behind | 2–3 weeks |
| 2+ years behind | 3–6 weeks |
Transaction volume affects timing. We give you a specific estimate after a free assessment — before you commit to anything.
What we handle
From a single messy QuickBooks file to years of unfiled returns — here is what we take off your plate.
How it works
No office visit. No back-and-forth. Just clean books and a filed return.
Call or fill out the form
Tell us your deadline, how far behind you are, and what software you use. We'll give you a flat-rate quote and a realistic timeline before you commit to anything.
Grant us QuickBooks access
You give us accountant access through Intuit's built-in feature. Secure, standard, and does not give us access to your bank accounts — only your QuickBooks data.
We do the work
We catch up your books, reconcile every account, and fix every error. We reach out if we have questions about specific transactions, but most of the work happens without interrupting your day.
Clean books. Filed return.
We hand you a clean profit and loss statement and balance sheet. We file your return directly or hand clean books to your CPA — whichever you prefer.
Common questions
Can you really get my books ready before my tax deadline?
In most cases, yes. If you're a few months behind, we can have clean books ready in 1–3 business days. If you're a year or more behind, we'll tell you honestly whether your deadline is achievable and what it will take. Call us at (325) 572-3130 and we'll give you a straight answer.
What if I also need someone to actually file my taxes?
We handle both. We can clean up your books and prepare your tax return — federal and state — so you don't have to coordinate between two different providers. Many of our clients come to us specifically because they need both done at the same time.
I haven't filed in two years. Is it too late?
It's not too late, but the longer you wait, the more it costs — in penalties, interest, and the IRS's patience. We've helped clients get current after three or four years of unfiled returns. The process is the same: get the books right, then file. Call us and we'll walk you through it.
What if I got an IRS notice and I don't understand it?
Bring it to us. We'll read it, explain what it's asking for, and help you respond correctly. Most IRS notices are not as bad as they look — but they do require a timely, accurate response. Ignoring them makes things worse.
Do I need QuickBooks to work with you?
No. We can work with whatever records you have — bank statements, spreadsheets, or nothing at all. If you don't have QuickBooks, we can set it up as part of the process. We work exclusively with QuickBooks Online.
What does this cost?
Catch-up bookkeeping is priced as a flat rate based on how many months need to be caught up and your transaction volume. Most clients pay between $400 and $1,500 for a full cleanup. Tax preparation is priced separately. You get the number before we start — no hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
I'm embarrassed about how bad my books are. Will you judge me?
No. We've cleaned up files that were four years behind with no reconciliation ever done. Whatever your situation is, we've seen worse. Our job is to fix it, not to make you feel bad about it.
Don't wait until it's too late to fix.
Call us right now. We'll tell you honestly whether we can meet your deadline, what it will cost, and how fast we can get started. No obligation.
